Why visit an Osteopath?
Osteopathy is an established, recognised system of diagnosis and
treatment of injuries and conditions based around the structure and
function of the body. Osteopaths look at how the parts of the body
interact; the bones, joints, ligaments, discs, muscles, tendons and
nerves. Osteopaths can help reduce the risk of further injuries due to a
change in the body’s working patterns to compensate for the original
complaint with effective osteopathic treatments.
Based in Clayhall, in the heart of the London Borough of Redbridge, The
Osteopathic Clinic of Physical Medicine goes a step further – Sharmila
is a Naturopathic Osteopath. Naturopathy is a system of preventative
and therapeutic medicine which looks at all of the factors affecting the
body’s inherent healing mechanisms. Combined with Osteopathy it can be
very effective when treating conditions, taking account diet, lifestyle,
working environment and all of the contributing factors to determine an
effective solution.
And osteopathy is not just for curing injuries… By repairing the
mechanics of the body, it’s ability to function at a higher level is
achieved, great for anyone who enjoys sport and wants to improve their
game.
