Claylands Park is set on the banks of the River Wyre overlooking the beautiful Trough of Bowland, yet within half an hours drive of the Fylde Coast, the Yorkshire Dales & the Lake District. It has been owned by the same family for more than 50 years who have created a landscape masterpiece & won numerous awards including the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation.
Planting over 5,000 indiginous trees, with careful development Claylands Park is a natural haven for squirrels, foxes, deer, rabbits & over 85 species of birds.
The Stepping Stones bar & restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday in the season & offers a wide choice of delicious home cooked food, sourced from local suppliers, to eat in or take away.
There is a modern, free toilet & shower block, & a laundry room consisting of coin operated washers & dryers & washing up facilities. All are open 24 hours a day. Drinking water & waste disposal points are situated around the park.
Other facilities include 4 fishing ponds, a children's play area & an onsite shop for those basic essentials.
