Your therapist - nicola elliot bsc (hons)
my career started by training and working within the fitness industry as a personal trainer and teaching various fitness classes. It was during this time i trained as a sports and therapeutic massage therapist, working from various health clubs and the eyhorne osteopathic clinic.
while working as a personal trainer it became apparent very early on that nutrition was one of the main areas which most people needed guidance with in order to reach their health goals.
main goals can range from increasing fitness levels, improving self esteem, weight loss, rehabilitation from injury, recovery from illness and training for a specific sporting event.
nutrition became a huge interest of mine and i found that advanced nutrition knowledge was essential in helping others reach their goals successfully. I then went on to study further and complete bsc (hons) human nutrition.
during my studies one of my main areas of interest was metabolism, disease and prevention. The main area of interest was the digestive system and large colon in relation to nutrition and lifestyle factors which can help to prevent disease and therapeutically help those with health related problems.
i then went on to study a post graduate qualification as a colon hydrotherapist under dr milo siewart, founder and honorary president of the association and register of colon hydrotherapists (arch) and roger groos at the european school of colon hydrotherapy. Colon hydrotherapy allows me to help others reach their nutrition and lifestyle goals due to clear diagnosis of overall bowel function.
working as a colon hydrotherapist, nutritionist, personal trainer and massage therapist enables me to help others to live a full and comfortable life through a healthy balanced diet, exercise and lifestyle guidance, overall allowing people to live healthy lives with brighter futures.
